With so much of the world now viewable through video, print and the Internet, there is a vast subject matter available to artists like myself. I try to take some of these glimpses into these other places and experiences (many of which I have visited in person) and yet put a familiar face on them and connect the viewer to these environments in a comfortable way.

Whether spanning deserts, diving into oceans, or soaring above the clouds, I try to shape those images in my evolving styles and mediums, and present them with a contemporary look. So no, I don’t paint like the old masters but more like the modern, contemporary ones.
